HEY, HELLO

For more than 20 years, I’ve been immersed in Southern California’s design scene, helping shape brands throughout the region and beyond.

My love of skateboarding and surfing fueled my early career, taking me from a graphic design degree into leadership roles with several action sports companies, where I led in-house creative teams as Creative Director.

In 2004, I launched my own design studio, Type G, as a way to push my creativity further and work across a broader range of industries. Today, the studio specializes in branding, graphic design, packaging, websites and video — always with a focus on creating distinctive, meaningful brand identities.

Based in North County San Diego, I’ve become a trusted creative resource for local businesses and national brands looking for thoughtful design with an authentic California perspective.

Over the years, I’ve partnered with brands including Hydro Flask, Culture Brewing, Kashi, Waco Surf, New Greens, Bambucha Kombucha, Storyhouse Spirits, Eliel Cycling, Fish 101, Surf House Hotel, Opus Footwear and Coastal Roots Farm.

When I’m not helping brands grow, I’m spending time with my family, skateboarding, surfing, training jiu-jitsu, taking photos, or hanging with friends who keep me grounded, laughing and creatively inspired.

Our work spans brand identity, graphics, packaging, websites and video — reflected in a portfolio built over two decades here on Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach, California.
